Your information.Handled with purpose.
How enquiries, attachments and optional website measurement are used.
Who is responsible.
Joshua Matheson, trading as JM Pubs and Josh the Pub Guy, is responsible for enquiry information collected through this website. Contact josh@joshthepubguy.co.uk about your information.
This notice describes the website as updated on 14 September 2026.
Enquiries and attachments.
The form collects your name, contact details, venue or business, message and any optional attachment. The purpose is to understand and respond to your request and discuss possible work. Providing these details is voluntary, but a working contact method is needed to reply.
The basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable, or the legitimate interest in responding to business and professional enquiries. Details are not added to a marketing list. Do not send special-category personal information or unredacted customer, employee or banking records.
Information is stored in the site’s restricted enquiry inbox. Access is limited to Josh’s authorised owner account. Hosting and storage are provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure; email replies use the relevant email service. Providers may process information internationally under their applicable service and data-protection arrangements. Contact Josh for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
Enquiries and attachments are kept while responding and deciding whether to proceed. Josh reviews completed enquiries and deletes material no longer needed, taking account of any continuing engagement, agreed obligations or dispute. You can request earlier deletion; information that must be retained for another reason will be explained.
Optional website measurement.
Measurement is off until you select “Allow measurement”. If enabled, the site counts page views, email and venue-link clicks, case-study engagement and successful form submissions. It records the day, page path, event category and a broad source category such as LinkedIn or search. It does not include enquiry text, contact details, full referring URLs or advertising identifiers in those counts.
Your choice is stored on this browser. You can change it at any time using “Privacy choices” in the footer. Declining does not affect the enquiry form. Previously collected aggregate counts cannot be linked back to you.
The hosting infrastructure processes connection information to deliver and secure the website. The enquiry form also uses a short-lived hash of the connection address to limit repeated submissions; this security record expires after 24 hours and is cleared on subsequent form use.
Your choices and rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict processing or receive portable information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw optional measurement consent using the footer control.
Contact Josh using the email above to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. No decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made solely by automated processing through this form.
